James W Voshell has been a painter in the Baltimore area for more than 50 years. He spent three decades living in the city, documenting daily life, creating hundreds of images on canvas and paper.

For the past 23 years he's lived on a farm in northern Baltimore County, painting scenes from nature that now surrounds his life.
